First One-on-One Meeting After the General Election
Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, and Cho Guk, leader of the Cho Guk Innovation Party, will have a dinner meeting on the 25th.
The Democratic Party announced in the afternoon, "The dinner meeting between Leader Lee and Leader Cho will be held privately," adding, "A brief written briefing is scheduled after the dinner ends."

View original imageThe Cho Guk Innovation Party also stated in a notice, "The two party leaders are scheduled to have a private meeting over dinner this evening," and "The key points of the conversation between the two leaders will be announced to the media later."
This is the first time the two have met since the general election. It is known that officials from both sides will also attend the meeting. Leader Lee told reporters at the National Assembly, "I contacted (Leader Cho) first," adding, "He is someone I have known well, and I thought it necessary to have various discussions, so I suggested having dinner."
During the meeting, discussions are expected regarding the direction of political management ahead of the opening of the 22nd National Assembly. The Democratic Party secured 171 seats in the April 10 general election, while the Cho Guk Innovation Party secured 12 seats.
