Recruiting 50 Citizens Nationwide for the Observation Team
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (President Hwang Ju-ho) will publicly recruit the "7th Citizen Observation Group" from 1 PM on the 29th until May 10.
The Saeul Units 3 and 4 Citizen Observation Group has been implemented since 2018 to secure public trust in nuclear power plant safety through transparent information disclosure. The recruitment scope has been expanded from the previous Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions to nationwide, randomly selecting a total of 50 people from the entire nation who are interested in the construction of Saeul Units 3 and 4.
The Citizen Observation Group will participate from June to September for four months in online observation of the overall nuclear power plant construction and commissioning, visits to major processes and construction sites of Saeul Units 3 and 4, safety experience centers, and simulator training. They will also engage in activities such as freely providing opinions and policy suggestions.
