KAMCO Shares 'Non-Performing Loan Resolution Know-How' with Vietnamese High-Level Delegation
Strengthening Cooperation by Sharing Credit Recovery Support Projects and More
On the 25th, Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) held a special lecture at the Busan International Finance Center (BIFC) for a high-level Vietnamese delegation composed of the State Securities Commission of Vietnam, the central bank, and others, led by Deputy Chairman Bu Nhu Tang of the State Securities Commission of Vietnam, to share KAMCO's experience and know-how in non-performing loan (NPL) resolution.
This special lecture was organized as part of the global training program conducted by the Financial Supervisory Service to share KAMCO's experience in NPL resolution and to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions.
KAMCO lectured on △ the history of the corporation's acquisition of non-performing loans △ methodologies for NPL resolution △ an overview of the credit recovery support project △ the current status of Korea-Vietnam cooperation for NPL resolution, while also discussing future directions for cooperation to enhance Vietnam's financial soundness.
