20s Man Arrested for Beating Woman to Death at Gangnam Hotel... Tests Positive for Drugs
The Suseo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 25th that they have arrested a man in his 20s on charges of assault causing death after he assaulted a woman at a hotel in Gangnam, resulting in her death.
Mr. A reported directly to 119 at around 7:30 a.m. on the 18th, saying that the victim "was not breathing." The victim was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest but passed away.
Based on wounds found on the body, the police concluded that the victim died as a result of assault. Mr. A also tested positive for ecstasy in a preliminary drug test, leading to additional charges under the Narcotics Control Act.
