Jangseong-gun Operates 'Youth Mind Care' Program
Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 25th that it will operate the ‘Youth Mind Care’ program for managing youth mental health.
‘Youth Mind Care’ is a mental care program for residents aged 20 to 39 who are experiencing psychological difficulties such as job insecurity, workplace stress, and depression.
This program consists of ▲mental health screening and depression/stress tests ▲mental health programs to face the mind ▲making ‘aroma cypress pillows’ ▲life-saving education, among others.
Youths identified as high-risk based on test results will receive free consultations with mental health specialists, connections to related organizations, and support for treatment costs.
The application period is until the end of this month, and for more details, contact the Jangseong-gun Public Health Center.
A county official said, “We will help young people regain their mental health and live their daily lives energetically,” adding, “We ask for active participation from local youth, government offices, and company employees.”
