Hwaseong-si, Water Bill Discounts for Kindergartens Starting in May
Revision of City Ordinance... Benefits for 81 Locations
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 24th that it will implement a reduction in water utility fees for kindergartens within the city starting in May.
This water fee reduction follows the recent revision of the 'Hwaseong City Water Supply Ordinance.' From the May water bill onward, the city plans to apply the general use first-tier rate to kindergartens regardless of usage level.
Kindergartens within the city do not need to apply separately, as the city will receive a list of 81 kindergartens from the Hwaseong Osan Office of Education to implement the reduction. However, standalone kindergartens must use individual meters without risk of mixed usage. If fee calculation is difficult due to the use of shared meters, they will be excluded from the reduction.
