Ulleung County Governor of South Korea Conducts On-Site Inspection of Major Project Sites
Namhan-gwon, the governor of Ulleung County in Gyeongbuk, conducted an on-site inspection of 16 projects currently underway on the 23rd to fulfill the promises made to the residents during the 8th local election term.

View original imageHe visited six locations in Ulleung-eup, including the Ulleung Airport construction site, which is currently 45% complete, and the LPG pipeline supply project; four locations in Seomyeon, including Hakpo Port and the Taeha 1-ri district coastal maintenance project with a total budget of 40 billion KRW; and six locations in Buk-myeon, including the Ulleung Island Youth Housing project and the Gwaneumdo connecting bridge maintenance project, both aimed at improving the poor housing environment in Ulleung.
Governor Namhan-gwon urged, “I hope all county officials do their best to ensure that projects closely related to residents' daily lives proceed swiftly.”

Ulleung County plans to hold a briefing session on the 25th to inform residents about the inspection results and progress, as well as the establishment of a comprehensive development plan following the enactment of a special law and the Global Green U City initiative.
