Muan Fire Station Operates Safety Message Transmission Day
Providing Fire Prevention and Safety Information to Fire-Vulnerable Targets
Jeonnam Muan Fire Station (Chief Kim Yong-ho) announced on the 23rd that it is operating the 'Safety Message Transmission Day,' which provides fire prevention and safety information to fire-vulnerable targets as part of spring fire prevention measures.
The 'Safety Message Transmission Day' provides and shares fire prevention notices and safety information using the Unified Messaging System (UMS) to stakeholders and safety managers of fire-vulnerable targets such as traditional markets, nursing homes, and construction sites.
The fire station plans to regularly send messages at least twice a month using text services during the spring period from March to May.
The main contents of the safety messages include △ fire safety rules during welding at construction sites △ careless fire prevention rules △ prohibition of using multi-plug outlets △ prohibition of burning rice paddies and field ridges.
Chief Kim Yong-ho said, “We will do our best to raise safety awareness among stakeholders through customized safety message transmission by target and to reduce fires and safety accidents.”
