Mokpo National University Hosts Workshop on 'Edutech-Enabled Interactive Classes'
Continuing Efforts for Educational Innovation Through Future-Oriented Teaching Methods
The Office of Educational Innovation at National Mokpo University (President Song Ha-cheol) announced on the 19th that it held a workshop on the use of edutech on the 18th from 1 PM to 6 PM in the Plaza60 Classroom Behavior Analysis Room.
This workshop was planned for full-time faculty members to utilize various edutech media during class time, with 23 full-time faculty participating.

Through a lecture by Professor Lee Moon-young of Honam University, media education on tools such as Slido, Padlet, and Quizizz, which enable interaction with students, was conducted.
Professor Lee Moon-young emphasized that "applying edutech in classes is important for fostering student participation," introduced competency-based teaching methods using flipped learning and generative AI, and presented cases that professors can actively utilize.
Participating faculty members shared their impressions, saying, "The use of media that makes asking questions easy is useful" through the workshop.
Professor Lee Go-eun, Director of the Teaching and Learning e-Learning Center at National Mokpo University, stated, "The use of edutech is an essential element for innovation in higher education," and added, "We plan to continuously operate customized faculty competency enhancement programs to respond to changes in the educational environment."

The Teaching and Learning e-Learning Center at National Mokpo University plans to continue leading educational innovation through steady enhancement of faculty professionalism. It is expected that this will increase the practical applicability of classes by faculty and strengthen communication with students.
