HL Mando Selected as GM's Excellent Supplier of the Year for 4 Consecutive Years
HL Mando has been selected as General Motors (GM)'s 'Supplier of the Year' for four consecutive years.
HL Mando announced on the 19th that on the 9th (local time), executives including HL Mando CEO Vice Chairman Seonghyun Cho and HL Mando MESA (HL Mando Engineering & Sales America) President Jaehyuk Kim attended the '32nd SOY (Supplier of the Year)' awards ceremony held in Miami, Florida, USA.
SOY is an award given to the top 1% of outstanding suppliers. GM evaluates detailed criteria such as supplier performance, technological innovation, and contribution to goal achievement, selecting excellent suppliers annually from over 20,000 companies worldwide. While GM previously selected about 120 suppliers, only 86 companies were chosen in this selection.

That year, HL Mando officially entered the U.S. market and expanded its North American business by establishing production bases starting with Alabama, followed by the Georgia plant in 2012 and the Saltillo plant in Mexico in 2015. The Alabama production base marks its 20th anniversary this year.
