Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station Volunteer Fire Brigade Holds In-House Firefighting Skills Competition
On the 17th, the Bukbu Fire Station of Gwangju Metropolitan City held a volunteer fire brigade's own firefighting skills competition at the artificial turf field in the local cultural neighborhood park.
This competition was organized to select participants for the National Volunteer Fire Brigade Firefighting Skills Competition by demonstrating the firefighting skills honed through regular disaster site support activities as volunteer firefighters, and to provide a venue for communication and harmony among volunteer firefighters.
The skills competition proceeded in the order of demonstrations by professional firefighters followed by the selection of contestants, and other activities such as sports events and recreation were held to foster friendship and unity.
