Gangseo-gu, Redesigned District Unit Plan Website for Easier Access
Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) has revamped its website to make it easier and more convenient to check district unit plans.
A district unit plan is a type of urban management plan established to prevent indiscriminate development in existing urban areas and to systematically develop and manage new areas.
Until now, it was inconvenient to smoothly find information such as location maps or implementation guidelines on the district unit plan bulletin board on the district office website.
The district office has addressed previous issues and redesigned the bulletin board with a user-centered approach to facilitate easy access to urban management plan information. The revamped bulletin board is organized into five menus that clearly explain the definition of district unit plans and related laws, and provide detailed introductions to the plan drafting procedures. It also includes information on resident proposal requirements and procedures, as well as standards for establishing district unit plans.
In the district unit plan data room within the district status (Gangseo-gu), implementation guidelines and decision maps for each area, such as Gonghang-ro, Ujangsan Station Living Zone Center, and Hwagok Station District Center, are provided for residents to easily download.
