A man in his 50s who attempted to murder his ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend has been indicted while in custody.
The Violent Crime Division of the Seoul Northern District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Kim Jae-hyuk) announced on the 15th that Mr. A, in his 50s, was indicted on charges including attempted murder.
According to the prosecution, on the 21st of last month, Mr. A broke into his ex-girlfriend's house, stabbed her boyfriend Mr. B with a weapon, poured gasoline on Mr. B's body and face, and attempted to set him on fire, but the attempt was unsuccessful.
It was revealed that Mr. A had planned the crime in advance by preparing tools such as the weapon and gasoline.
