Independence Hall Produces Pencil Sets Featuring Signatures of Kim Gu and Ahn Changho
The Independence Hall of Korea has produced a pencil set featuring the handwritten signatures of independence activists to commemorate the 105th anniversary of the establishment of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea.
The Independence Hall created the pencils with the handwritten signatures of six prominent figures who were active in various fields such as diplomacy, military, education, and fundraising for the independence movement of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea: Kim Gu, Kim Kyu-sik, Kim Maria, Seo Jae-pil, Ahn Chang-ho, and Lee Sang-seol.
The pencil set with independence activists' signatures also includes a leaflet explaining the historical documents bearing the original signatures, allowing people to reflect on their significance.
The newly produced pencil set will be used as a commemorative gift for participants in educational and other programs for descendants of independence patriots.
