KOTRA and Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy Operate Korea Pavilion at Chile International Aerospace Exhibition
The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), together with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, announced on the 14th that it supported contract acquisition by operating a joint promotional booth for Korean defense companies at the international aerospace exhibition 'FIDAE 2024' held in Santiago, Chile from the 9th to the 12th.
Held biennially, FIDAE is the largest defense and aerospace exhibition in Latin America, with over 450 major companies from more than 40 countries participating this year.
KOTRA selected 12 domestic companies with competitiveness in drones, anti-drone technology, and aircraft maintenance and parts to promote their key products. Additionally, it identified 35 overseas buyers in advance, conducted online export consultations, and arranged on-site meetings, resulting in over 70 buyer consultations.

A KOTRA official stated, "To spread the enthusiasm for K-defense, we plan to operate promotional booths at international defense exhibitions such as the Slovakia International Defense Industry Exhibition next month, the Bulgaria International Defense Industry Exhibition in June, the Jordan Special Operations Exhibition in September, and the Czech Future Military Forum in October."
