Female Cadet at Korea Military Academy, First Female Graduate of British Military Academy
Cadet Jang Seo-hae Awarded Best Cadet and Best Entrusted Cadet Honors
For the first time, a female cadet from the Korea Military Academy, Jang Seo-hae (22), graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.
According to the Army on the 12th, Cadet Jang, a member of the 81st class of the Korea Military Academy, received a one-year regular course training at the British Military Academy under the Korea-UK Military Academy MOU signed in 2019. The regular course at the British Military Academy, which he completed from May last year to April this year, is known for its rigorous, performance-oriented training. A total of 163 cadets trained together, including 26 foreign cadets.
Cadet Jang received the Best Foreign Cadet Award at the graduation ceremony. The Korea Military Academy explained that among the foreign cadets dispatched from various countries, he achieved the highest performance across military, academic, and practical fields.

Cadet Jang stated, "Through practical and intense training, I learned the spirit of a soldier who does not yield under any circumstances and developed endurance." So far, three cadets from the Korea Military Academy have graduated from the British Military Academy, and this is the first time a female cadet has graduated.
