Daejeon City to Begin Additional COVID-19 Vaccinations for High-Risk Groups Starting the 15th
XBB Vaccine for Previously Vaccinated Immunocompromised Individuals and Those Aged 65 and Older
Daejeon City announced that it will begin additional COVID-19 vaccinations for high-risk groups starting from the 15th of this month.
The eligible individuals are immunocompromised persons and citizens aged 65 and older who have received the XBB vaccine, and anyone who has not yet received the XBB vaccine can get vaccinated.
The vaccination interval must be at least 3 months (90 days) from the date of the last COVID-19 vaccination.
Since designated medical institutions will be operated temporarily due to the end of the 2023-2024 vaccination season, those wishing to get vaccinated should first check the availability of vaccination sites and vaccines by contacting the Infectious Disease Portal, Daejeon City website, or hospitals and clinics by phone.
