Luxury Jobs Galore... Gyeongnam Province to Host 2024 Job Fair for Employers and Job Seekers
22 Local Companies and Over 100 Job Seekers Participate
One-on-One On-Site Interviews and Employment Consulting Provided
The first 2024 Gyeongnam Province Job Fair will be held on the 12th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the main conference room on the 2nd floor of the Gyeongnam Social Economy Innovation Town main building.
The Gyeongnam Investment & Economic Promotion Agency Youth and Job Comprehensive Center announced on the 11th that it will hold this year’s first recruitment event at the Gyeongnam Social Economy Innovation Town, which relocated on July 31 last year.
The "Job Fair" is an event that provides job seekers with employment opportunities through on-site interviews to match and support workforce demand, which has increased in the manufacturing industry.
Since 2020, the event has been held four times a year for companies in urgent need of hiring and job seekers. Last year, 402 people participated, resulting in 28 hires.
This year, about 22 companies and over 100 job seekers are expected to participate in the event.
▲ One-on-one on-site interviews will be conducted to recruit for positions such as “Quality Team Regular Employee” at Samsong’s Changwon plant, a specialist in automotive safety devices; “Entry-level Field Worker” at Koman, a manufacturer of hydraulic hose fittings and adapters; and “Facility Management Team” at Romansys, a specialized railway vehicle manufacturer.
In addition, kiosk-based non-face-to-face interviews will be held with 11 companies including Haechansol Nursing Home, Hwaintek, and SY Nonatech.
