'Always Reliable Naepyeon Jung-gu' Story Contest Held
Jung-gu District in Seoul is holding a story contest under the theme "When Jung-gu Felt Like My Ally."
The contest targets stories about moments when support from Jung-gu gave strength, experiences of raising children well thanks to abundant childbirth, childcare, and education support, the warm care from Jung-gu that felt more like family, and cases of successfully finding employment after attending programs operated by Jung-gu.
The manuscript should be within 2 pages of A4 size. Attaching photos related to the story will earn extra points.
Submissions can be sent via email from April 11 to May 10.
The district will collect the entries and conduct judging in May, awarding one Grand Prize winner (500,000 KRW), two Excellence Award winners (300,000 KRW each), five Encouragement Award winners (200,000 KRW each), and 30 Participation Award winners (30,000 KRW each). The winning works will be announced in early June.
