BPA Announces Competitive Bidding for Commercial Facility Operator at Busan Bukhang Marina
Busan Port Authority (BPA) has decided to select an operator for the Busan North Port Marina commercial facility through an open competitive bidding process, with the announcement period running from April 9 to May 20.
The building housing the North Port Marina commercial facility is seven stories tall, and the bidding area covers 6,748.73㎡. It is planned to be composed of various waterfront spaces proposed by the operator, including waterfront cafes, F&B, retail stores, and accommodation facilities. The usage period is up to 10 years (5 years + 5 years) from the start date of the usage approval.
Eligibility for bidding requires domestic corporations that have completed reporting, licensing, or registration in one of the following businesses as defined by the Tourism Promotion Act, the Public Health Control Act, and the Enforcement Decree of the Food Sanitation Act: hotel business, lodging business, or food service business (excluding karaoke bars and entertainment bars), and whose direct annual sales revenue in the previous fiscal year is equal to or greater than the estimated price (1.633 billion KRW).
Interested bidders must submit their business proposals directly to the Busan Port Authority by May 20 and submit their bid prices on Onbid during the announcement period.
BPA will select the preferred negotiation candidate through evaluation by a committee composed of internal and external experts.
