BPA Launches Busan Port Safety Accident Prevention Campaign 'Wide Awake, Stay Alert!'
Busan Port Authority (BPA) will conduct the "Drowsiness Alert, Wake Up!" campaign to prevent spring safety accidents around Busan Port from the 8th to the 12th.
The campaign involves the Busan Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office, Lotte Wellfood, and 12 pier operators from Busan Port's North Port, New Port, and Gamcheon Port, urging port workers to follow safety rules to prevent accidents caused by drowsiness or inattentiveness, and distributing free drowsiness alert gum.
On the 8th, BPA and the Busan Maritime Affairs Office will hold on-site campaigns at Busan Port Terminal in North Port; on the 9th, at the Busan Port International Ship Supplies Distribution Center in Yeongdo-gu; on the 11th, at the Ungdong Truck Rest Area in New Port; and on the 12th, at the East Pier of Gamcheon Port.
Each pier operator at North Port, New Port, and Gamcheon Port will conduct their own campaigns during this period, and BPA executives and employees also pledged to comply with traffic laws and promote advanced traffic culture by signing a safe driving pledge.
