Suwon City Conducts Preventive Monitoring Audit on Major Projects
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will conduct preventive monitoring audits to identify issues in major projects in advance and prepare timely improvement measures.
The first monitoring target is the "Carbon Neutral Green City Development Project."
Within this month, Suwon will assess the appropriateness of the greenhouse gas reduction project by sector, including effectiveness, economic feasibility, and practicality, as well as the adequacy of the greenhouse gas reduction targets to measure the project's performance.
Suwon plans to expand preventive monitoring to large-scale projects and major policy initiatives in the future.
