KOTRA Launches 'Dexters' Project to Train 10,000 Digital Trade Professionals

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KOTRA held the 2nd launch ceremony for the digital trade workforce training program 'Dexters' on the 8th at the Digital Trade Comprehensive Support Center (DEXTER) located at KOTRA headquarters in Yeomgok-dong, Seoul.

View original imageThe Ministry and KOTRA are conducting the Dexters training program with the goal of nurturing 10,000 digital trade personnel by 2027. A total of nine DEXTER centers have been established nationwide, allowing anyone to participate in Dexters without any separate qualification requirements.
Starting with two pilot operations in 2022, the program has been held eight times cumulatively, with the number of participants exceeding 1,500. From February 6 to April 5, the 1st Dexters program saw 476 participants from 100 universities across the country.
