Daegu Seo-gu 'Dalseong Toseong Village Cooperative' Selected for Preliminary Village Enterprise Support Project

Daegu Seo-gu Urban Regeneration Support Center announced on the 7th that the ‘Dalseong Toseong Village Cooperative’ has been selected for the 2024 Daegu-style Preliminary Village Enterprise Support Project, hosted by Daegu City and organized by Community and Economy.
The Preliminary Village Enterprise Support Project is designed to help village resident organizations establish a stable operational system, laying the foundation for village enterprise startups.
The ‘Dalseong Toseong Village Cooperative,’ selected for this Preliminary Village Enterprise Support Project, will receive up to 10 million KRW from April to October for management capacity building and business development expenses to promote village projects linked to cafes, parking lots, and restaurant businesses.
Composed of about 30 residents from Bisan 2 and 3-dong in Seo-gu, Daegu, the Dalseong Toseong Village Cooperative is carrying out various resident-led projects such as operating the Attic Cafe, village guide services introducing Dalseong Toseong Alley Garden, village kitchen programs, succulent art experiences, village gallery, and village broadcasting station operations.
The Dalseong Toseong Village Cooperative, which has turned the beautiful alley garden into a nationally renowned attraction, plans to strengthen and expand its village projects through this initiative and actively participate in future village enterprise support projects.
