Oops, No Ballot Marked but Put in Ballot Box... Commotion in Busan on First Early Voting Day
On the first day of early voting for the 22nd general election, the 5th, various incidents and disturbances occurred at polling stations in the Busan area.
According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, at around 1:13 PM that day, an elderly man in his 80s caused a disturbance at the early voting station on the 3rd floor of the Millak-dong Administrative Welfare Center in Suyeong-gu, claiming that he had put the ballot into the ballot box without marking it and demanded that the ballot be taken out.
The police and election commission officials restrained him, explained that the ballot box could not be opened, provided the election commission's phone number, and had a hard time sending him home.

Also, at around 3 PM that day, a man in his 50s who caused a disturbance by tearing up a ballot at the Gaegum 3-dong Administrative Welfare Center in Busanjin-gu was arrested by the police on charges of violating the Public Official Election Act.
