Asan City Operates Cultural Heritage Exploration Program for 3rd Grade Elementary Students
Completing Missions Such as Finding Cultural Heritage in Textbooks and Taking Photos
Asan City in Chungnam is operating a program called ‘Finding Asan City Cultural Heritage from Textbooks.’
This program, conducted by the Gobul Maengsa Seong Memorial Hall, is targeted at about 4,200 third-grade elementary school students in the area and will run until November.
Participants visit cultural heritage sites featured in the third-grade social studies textbook ‘Developing Asan,’ complete various tasks such as solving problems, taking photos, and drawing, and finish activity sheets.
After completing the activity sheets, visiting the ‘Gobul Maengsa Seong Memorial Hall’ allows participants to receive a small souvenir on a first-come, first-served basis. The activity sheets are distributed to each school in cooperation with the National Gongju Museum and the Asan Office of Education.
