Last Month's Bitcoin Trading Volume Exceeded 9 Trillion Won... Record High
The trading volume last month, when Bitcoin prices rose to an all-time high, also recorded a record high.
On the 4th (local time), Bloomberg News cited cryptocurrency data provider CC Data, reporting that the trading volume of Bitcoin spot and derivatives in March increased by 93% compared to the previous month, reaching $9.1 trillion.
The spot Bitcoin trading volume nearly doubled to $2.94 trillion, marking the highest monthly figure since May 2021. The derivatives trading volume was $6.2 trillion.
The trading volume of Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, was also the highest since May 2021. Spot trading volume recorded $1.12 trillion, and derivatives trading volume reached $2.91 trillion, representing increases of 121% and 90%, respectively.
