Busan Office of Education Receives Prime Minister's Commendation for 'No.1 Civil Service'
The Only Government Award Received by 17 City and Provincial Offices of Education
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yun-su) announced on the 5th that it was the only metropolitan and provincial office of education nationwide to receive the 'Prime Minister's Commendation' at the '2023 Comprehensive Evaluation of Civil Service Awards Ceremony' held at the annex auditorium of the Government Seoul Office Building on the 4th.
This award follows the comprehensive evaluation results jointly conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission announced in February, where Busan Metropolitan Office of Education received an 'A' grade and was selected as the best institution.
Busan Office of Education promoted policies that communicate and empathize with citizens, such as 'Day to Meet the Superintendent!' and 'Visiting Education Policy Briefings.'
Additionally, it has been committed to proactive and active improvement of civil service systems by providing demand-tailored civil service, including the 24-hour civil consultation service 'AI Chatbot Alrido' and the comprehensive civil service responsibility system 'All Care' from start to finish.
Recognized for these contributions, it achieved a vertical rise from a 'C' grade in 2022 to an 'A' grade in 2023, earning the honor of being selected as the 'Best Institution.'
