Last year, Busan City received a rating of 'Level 2 in Integrity Perception and Level 2 in Integrity Effort' for two consecutive years in the comprehensive integrity evaluation by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission. This is unique among metropolitan cities and provinces.
This year, Busan City aims to achieve a Level 1 comprehensive integrity rating and plans to promote integrity policies so that not only the city but also districts, counties, and affiliated public corporations and foundations in the Busan area can collectively enhance their integrity capabilities.
In February and March, integrity meetings were held with district and county integrity team leaders and department heads to discuss cooperation and joint promotion of integrity policies between the city and districts/counties. Starting in April, to improve the completion rate of integrity education, the city and districts/counties will share education schedules monthly to ensure that those required to attend face-to-face training do not miss it.
Additionally, the city’s integrity club 'Cheongnyeom Galmaegi,' which recently completed recruitment for its 9th term and held its inauguration ceremony, will continue joint activities such as campaigns together with autonomous integrity clubs in districts and counties.
Cheongnyeom Galmaegi is an integrity club composed of MZ generation employees of Busan City, spreading an integrity culture through various promotional activities such as integrity plays, integrity song production, and integrity campaigns.
