Gwangju Nam-gu, Dementia Awareness Video Contest for Local University Students
Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is holding a video contest aimed at students attending universities located within the district to raise awareness about dementia and convey messages of overcoming it.
According to Nam-gu on the 3rd, the university student dementia awareness video contest will be held for seven weeks until May 17.
The contest themes include messages about overcoming dementia, ideas for improving dementia awareness, and the functions and roles of the Nam-gu Dementia Safety Center. Participants can freely choose the video format, such as documentary, animation, or vlog.
Eligibility is limited to students or those on leave enrolled at Gwangju University, Kido Nursing College, and Songwon University located within the district. Participation can be individual or in teams of up to five members.
Each individual or team may submit one video entry.
Submissions must be videos between 30 and 90 seconds in length, produced in FHD resolution 1920×1080 pixels, with a maximum file size of 1GB, and submitted in MP4 or AVI format.
Contest documents can be downloaded from the Nam-gu Office website’s notice section and must be submitted via email to the person in charge by May 17.
After judging, Nam-gu will award the grand prize to one individual or team with the Nam-gu Office Chief’s Award and a cultural gift certificate worth 700,000 KRW. Excellence and encouragement award winners will also receive the Nam-gu Office Chief’s Award and cultural gift certificates worth 500,000 KRW and 200,000 KRW, respectively.
