Sharing Easter Joy Boxes at Dongan Church to Practice Neighborly Love
Donation of 3,587 Joy Sharing Boxes Worth 40,000 Won Each... Delivered to Dong Community Centers and Social Welfare Facilities
Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) announced that on the morning of the 2nd at 10 a.m., during Easter, 3,587 Joy Sharing Boxes worth 40,000 won each were donated at Dongan Church located in Imun-dong.
Dongan Church has been donating Easter Joy Sharing Boxes for 18 years since 2007 to support the underprivileged in the community. The boxes consist of Joy Sharing cards carefully written by church members and food items such as salt, red pepper paste, and curry.
The Joy Sharing Boxes will be delivered to the underprivileged through local community centers and social welfare facilities. Dongan Church actively participated in the transportation of the boxes during the distribution process, sharing the joy of loving neighbors through their hard work.
Hong Bae-sik, an elder of Dongan Church, expressed his donation sentiment, saying, “We will continue to strive to bring comfort and love to neighbors in need through various activities for the local community, including the Easter Joy Sharing event.”
