Support for Creating a 'Neighborhood Alley You Want to Stay In' in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju
Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is promoting the ‘Alleyway Development and Support Project to Create Streets Where People Want to Stay’ to restore public livelihood and revitalize local commercial districts.
The core of this project is to support the implementation of ideas from local merchants that reflect the characteristics of alleyway commercial districts. Proposals for projects that can enhance the attractiveness and competitiveness of alleyway commercial districts, such as promotion, sales increase, and capacity building, are being accepted until the 18th from merchant organizations composed of 10 or more small business owners located in Gwangsan-gu.
Gwangsan-gu will select 15 organizations in May based on willingness to participate, feasibility, and effectiveness, and support project costs up to 10 million KRW. Detailed information can be found in the announcement on the Gwangsan-gu website. Applications can be submitted by filling out the documents attached to the announcement and sending them via email.
