Lotte Wellfood 'Zero' Expands Ice Cream Lineup
Expanding to a Total of 7 Types with 2 Additional Bar Types and 2 Pint Types
Lotte Wellfood (formerly Lotte Confectionery) announced on the 2nd that its sugar-free dessert brand 'ZERO' is strengthening its ice cream lineup by introducing four new types of frozen desserts.
The newly launched products include two bars (▲ZERO Triple Chocolate Bar ▲ZERO Cookies and Cream Bar) and two home-type pints (▲ZERO Deep Chocolate Pint ▲ZERO Cookies and Cream Pint).
The ‘ZERO Triple Chocolate Bar’ is an improved version of the existing ZERO Choco Bar. It features a rich chocolate flavor and a clean taste that lasts until the very end, embodying the taste of ZERO chocolate in ice cream form. The outside is coated with crispy chocolate, and inside, a mix of two types of chocolate delivers three layers of sweetness. The ‘ZERO Cookies and Cream Bar’ harmonizes ZERO’s clean yet sweet flavor with a rich cookies and cream taste. It contains cookie chips that provide a delightfully crunchy texture.
The two ZERO pints are home-type ice creams that can be enjoyed anytime without burden. The ‘ZERO Deep Chocolate Pint’ is characterized by the clean taste of ZERO chocolate. It contains chocolate chips, offering a richer chocolate flavor and enjoyable chewiness. The ‘ZERO Cookies and Cream Pint’ combines a rich cookies and cream flavor with the crunchy texture of cookie chips.
Since its debut in May 2022, ZERO has gained popularity among consumers sensitive to sugar intake and has stood out in the health & wellness market. To pioneer the sugar-free dessert market, it has launched various new products across categories and achieved sales approaching 40 billion KRW last year. This year, it aims to achieve sales exceeding 50 billion KRW.
