Seongnam City Supports Housing Renovation for Disabled Residents... Up to 3.8 Million KRW per Household
Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting candidates for the housing renovation project for people with disabilities until the 30th of this month to improve their living environment.
The housing renovation project for people with disabilities is a program aimed at enhancing mobility and living convenience by installing and improving convenience facilities and safety devices within the home.
This year, Seongnam City plans to support 11 households, providing selected households with customized convenience facilities and safety devices for people with disabilities within a budget of 3.8 million KRW, including ▲installation of safety bars ▲removal of door thresholds ▲widening of doorways ▲anti-slip flooring ▲motion sensors ▲installation of adjustable-height sinks and washbasins.

View original imageApplicants must be registered disabled residents of Seongnam City, living in either owned or rented housing, with a monthly average household income below the previous year's urban worker household average income. However, those who have received the same or similar housing renovation support from national, local government, public, or financial institutions within the past three years are excluded from eligibility.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the administrative welfare center in the applicant's district.
If there are many applicants, Seongnam City will select recipients based on income, degree of disability, age, urgency, and other factors.
