Gangdong-gu (District Mayor Lee Su-hee) announced on the 26th that it conducted self-reliance capacity training for applicants of the Asset Building Support Project to strengthen the self-reliance capabilities of low-income working households and support their successful independence and self-sufficiency.
This training was organized as part of the mandatory group education for subscribers of the Hope Savings Account II and Tomorrow Savings Account under the Asset Building Support Project. Son Eun-kyung, an instructor from the Credit Recovery Committee, was invited to provide financial and fiscal information helpful for the self-reliance of low-income working households under the theme of "Rational Consumption Expenditure and Credit Management," receiving high praise from attendees.
The Asset Building Support Project is a program that supports low-income vulnerable groups with working ability to accumulate assets necessary for independence and self-sufficiency by saving a fixed amount monthly for three years, with additional subsidies provided by the government and local governments.
Those wishing to newly enroll can apply at their local community service center according to the recruitment schedule, which can be checked on the "Asset Building Portal (Asset e-Room)."
