Jeonbuk Student Marine Training Center and Buan Coast Guard Join Hands for Marine Education
On the 28th, Joining Forces for Safe Student Marine Training Activities
Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education Student Marine Training Center (Director Park Young-seok) and Buan Maritime Police Station (Chief Seo Young-kyo) have joined hands to foster healthy minds and a sense of community among students in the Jeonbuk region, as well as to strengthen marine safety education.
According to the Jeonbuk Office of Education on the 28th, the memorandum of understanding held at the Jeonbuk Student Marine Training Center seminar room was established as both organizations deeply agreed on the importance of student marine training education and sought to enhance mutual cooperation.
On the 28th, Jeonbuk Student Marine Training Center and Buan Coast Guard joined hands to promote healthy character and community spirit among students in the Jeonbuk area and to strengthen marine safety education.

According to the agreement, the two organizations will jointly conduct various marine training education programs for students and cooperate in utilizing facilities.
The main contents of the agreement include Buan Maritime Police participating directly as lecturers in character education special lectures starting from April this year, and the maritime police serving as safety personnel during the marine practical experience in May to provide a safer educational environment for students. The Jeonbuk Student Marine Training Center will provide a water safety experience center to enhance the rescue personnel capabilities of Buan Maritime Police.
Chief Seo Young-kyo stated, "I hope that by maintaining a mutually beneficial educational and cooperative relationship between the two organizations, students will have an opportunity to develop awareness of marine safety and take an interest in marine environmental conservation."
