This analysis was based on reviews containing negative keywords such as 'disappointing' and 'overrated,' as well as positive expressions like 'underrated' and 'must-see.' Notably, the negative mentions for the Mona Lisa were double the average negative review rate of 19.2% for all 100 artworks.
Many reviews of the Mona Lisa included the term 'crowds.' Housed in the Louvre Museum in Paris, France, the Mona Lisa is always surrounded by throngs of visitors. Additionally, multiple layers of protective barriers make it difficult to properly appreciate the painting, which measures only 77 cm in height and 53 cm in width.
