Convenience store Emart24 announced on the 28th that it has renewed its mobile app. The renewal focused on making it easy for customers to access and conveniently use the menus and services they mainly use.
The renewed app has revamped the main screen so that customers can intuitively check product and benefit information. Stamp events, subscription coupons, and events?information frequently used by customers through the app?were placed on the main page.
In particular, considering the high customer interest in discount benefit information, regular monthly events such as '1+1' and '2+1' were displayed at the top of the main page. Customers can search for products by product category.
It has also become possible to check real-time store inventory for all products sold at Emart24. Customers can search for product names in the 'Inventory Check' section within the mobile app to immediately check the inventory status of stores within a 2 km radius.
Additionally, the connectivity between offline stores and online commerce is being strengthened. Emart24 expects that by displaying products available for reservation pickup, immediate delivery, and same-day pickup on the main page, customers will be able to use these services more easily. Furthermore, functions such as reservation pickup, favorite store settings, and popular search products have been added to the mobile app.
To commemorate this app renewal, Emart24 is also conducting various events. From the 1st to the 30th of next month, all customers who newly sign up for the Emart24 mobile app will receive one random coupon out of five types. Customers can receive one of the following five coupons: ▲500 KRW discount ▲10,000 KRW discount on delivery ▲10,000 KRW discount on reservation pickup ▲10,000 KRW discount on same-day pickup ▲99% discount for in-store use (up to 50,000 KRW discount).
During the same period, a prize event will also be held. One winner will receive a 'Samsung Bespoke AI Combo' worth approximately 4 million KRW as a prize. For Emart24 KakaoTalk Plus Friends, starting from 11 a.m. on the 1st of next month, the first 24,240 people will receive a coupon for a 900 KRW discount on Jjajang ramen via same-day pickup.
Emart24 will also promote the app renewal through online and offline events. Comparing the app renewal to a 'moving,' a teaser titled "Emart24 is handing out moving rice cakes" will be released on the 1st of next month, and on the same day, an offline guerrilla event will be held where actual moving rice cakes will be given to customers.
