On the 26th, Gwangsan-gu announced that the 'Ordinance on Supporting Activities to Revitalize the Local Economy,' proposed by the executive branch, was passed at the Gwangsan-gu Council plenary session.

A Gwangsan-gu official stated, “We expect this ordinance to serve as a foundation for gathering citizens' capabilities to resolve local issues such as the relocation of Kumho Tire's Gwangju factory and the development of the Gwangju Songjeong Station area,” and added, “We will actively support various citizen activities that promote a new leap forward and vitality in Gwangsan.”
