One of the popular online communities in the field of aerial photography and video shooting, SkyPixel, recently announced the winners of the "SkyPixel 9th Annual Photo and Video Contest." Co-hosted with Chinese drone company DJI, this year's competition received over 130,000 entries, doubling the number from the previous year.

The Grand Prize in the video category went to Luke Braeder for "Haines Alaska Through the Eyes of Luke Braeder," which combined thrilling action scenes of a skier racing down snow-covered mountain peaks with breathtaking views of Alaska's winter mountainous terrain.

The Grand Prize in the photo category was awarded to Daolai for "Mongolian Yurt." This photo, taken on a snowy morning in the Ulanhot grasslands of Inner Mongolia, captures herders preparing for a grassland event. The judges commented, "It is naturally picturesque and beautifully depicts the lives of herders interacting with horses, camels, and the landscape centered around the yurt and houses with authenticity," adding that "they found scenes reminiscent of traditional Chinese ink wash paintings."
