Ottogi Hosts Family Cooking Contest Featuring Its Founding Product, Curry

Ottogi announced on the 25th that it will hold the 'Sweet Home 27th Ottogi Family Cooking Festival' at the Gwacheon Seoul Land Picnic Ground on May 11.
The Ottogi Family Cooking Festival is the largest cooking festival in Korea that promotes a healthy family culture through cooking. Until last year, a total of about 3,400 families and 12,500 people participated.
This year, celebrating its 55th anniversary, Ottogi selected "Cooking using Ottogi Curry," the company's founding product, as the competition theme to communicate with consumers.
The application period is from 10 a.m. on the day of the announcement until 8 p.m. on June 14. Applications can be submitted through the official Ottogi website. The participation fee is 30,000 KRW per team. This fee will be used to support children with congenital heart disease, and donation receipts will be issued. Applicants must fill out and submit the application form with the reason for applying, the name of the dish to be presented on the competition day, and the recipe. The announcement of participants will be made individually on June 19.
Winners of the cooking competition will receive electronic product vouchers worth a total of 12 million KRW, including ▲ Ottogi Award (1 team, 5 million KRW) ▲ Sweet Home Award (2 teams, 2 million KRW each) ▲ Yellows Award (3 teams, 1 million KRW each). Special prize winners (5 teams) will receive Ottogi Mall points worth 100,000 KRW each. All participants will be given a full-day Seoul Land park admission ticket and a welcome gift to use on the day, and a lucky draw event will be held for a travel voucher to Hong Kong worth 3 million KRW.

Meanwhile, Ottogi plans to showcase various curry-related activities this year, marking the 55th anniversary of the curry launch, based on the history of how the founding product, curry, became a staple on Korean tables and a dish enjoyed by all age groups.
