1,000 Participants from 50 Countries to Attend the International Marine and Polar Engineering Conference at KINTEX Next Year
The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization has successfully secured the hosting rights for the ‘2025 International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers Conference (ISOPE),’ known as the world’s largest conference on marine technology.
Previously, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, together with Gyeonggi Province, Goyang City (Goyang Convention Bureau), and KINTEX, introduced KINTEX facilities and surrounding MICE infrastructure to the ISOPE inspection team last October and held a session to announce support programs.
On the 25th, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced that ISOPE’s board of directors recently highly evaluated ▲accessibility to Seoul and airports ▲abundant surrounding tourist resources ▲systematic hosting support ▲KINTEX’s conference facilities, and ultimately decided on Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province as the final venue.
The ISOPE inspection team visited Gyeonggi-do last year and took a commemorative photo with officials from related organizations involved in the attraction within the province.
