Bus Transportation Workers Recruitment Fair to Be Held in Suwon on the 27th
Gyeonggi Province will hold the ‘Gyeonggi Province Bus Transportation Workers Recruitment Fair’ at Suwon Messe Hall 2 on the 27th.
This recruitment fair is an event planned by Gyeonggi Province, the Korea Transportation Safety Authority, and the Gyeonggi Job Foundation to recruit high-quality bus transportation workers.
Fifty-two major city bus and village bus companies in the Gyeonggi area will participate and recruit transportation workers through consultation and interview booths.
The Gyeonggi Job Foundation will set up consultation booths to provide job counseling, aptitude tests, resume clinics, and other employment support services for transportation workers.
At this recruitment fair, job seekers can share various recruitment information and employment know-how, consult with company HR managers about wages, welfare benefits, and working conditions, and if they bring resumes and self-introduction letters, immediate hiring on-site is also possible.
Job seekers without bus driving experience can obtain a Class 1 Large Vehicle License and a Bus Driver Qualification Certificate, and then complete the training (10 days) conducted by the Korea Transportation Safety Authority to be immediately employable. After completing the transportation company’s training, they can also receive livelihood support funds.
The training is free, and the livelihood support amount is up to 690,000 KRW based on 70 hours of training. For those without a Class 1 Large Vehicle License, up to 480,000 KRW is supported for license acquisition costs.
