[Breaking News] "From the 25th, 100 Military Medical Officers and 100 Public Health Doctors to be Dispatched Additionaly"
The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced on the 22nd that, to strengthen the emergency medical system, it will dispatch an additional 200 personnel, including 100 military doctors and 100 public health doctors, to about 60 medical institutions starting next week (the 25th).
The Ministry stated, "The dispatch period is four weeks, and after training within the medical institutions until the 26th, work will commence from the 27th."
Previously, on the 11th, the Ministry dispatched 166 military doctors and public health doctors to 20 medical institutions in the first phase, and from the 21st, an additional 47 public health doctors were dispatched to 18 medical institutions according to the demand from local governments.

The Ministry added, "We will continue to closely monitor the situation on the ground and will also pursue additional personnel deployment, such as allowing military doctors scheduled for discharge to return early to tertiary hospitals."
