Lee Jun-seok "Intra-party conflict resolved... Second trial guilty verdict could turn Cho Kuk's vote into a wasted vote"
"Proportional Nomination Conflict Incident Settled"
Lee Jun-seok, leader of the Reform New Party, explained that the internal conflict over the proportional representation candidate ranking was a kind of happening, saying "all conflicts have been resolved."
On the 22nd, Lee said on KBS Radio's 'Jeonggyeok Sisa,' "Since the expected number of seats secured by the Reform New Party is low, party members who have worked hard so far may be dissatisfied with not being included on the list or not receiving a good ranking," adding, "It is true that there were heated remarks during the process of expressing these complaints." He continued, "However, thanks to the efforts of many people, the conflict has now calmed down, and we are focusing on winning the general election."
Yang Hyang-ja, the floor leader who had opposed the Reform New Party's proportional representation candidate list, has also declared she will remain in the party. She said, "It is possible to challenge for proportional representation, but it is not a good look to make quasi-threats by linking the nomination results to one's own actions," adding, "Now that the nominations are over, such conflicts are nothing more than a happening."

Lee said, "The Joguk Innovation Party temporarily takes a significant portion of the regime judgment argument, so it seems their approval rating is rising," and added, "Since the Supreme Court can issue a verdict at any time without holding a trial, there is talk that for the first time in constitutional history, former Minister Cho could receive a court ruling while being an elected official."

He then emphasized that votes should be cast for the Reform New Party to judge the regime. Lee said, "Many voters want to judge the regime, but would one more person elected from the major party, the Democratic Party of Korea, be a big blow or warning signal to the Yoon Seok-yeol government?" He argued, "Rather, Lee Jun-seok's election will be a big signal to the Yoon Seok-yeol government." He emphasized, "If Lee Jun-seok of the Reform New Party is elected, it means a person whom President Yoon Seok-yeol politically lynched and harassed will return by the choice of the residents," adding, "I am the person who fits the regime judgment argument."
