Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District (center), visited the site on the afternoon of the 21st to conduct a safety inspection along with key department and related agency staff ahead of the '18th Yeouido Spring Flower Festival.'
On this day, Mayor Choi emphasized that the safety of visitors is the top priority by inspecting risks related to trees and sidewalks and confirming the deployment of safety personnel for crowd management.
He also carefully reviewed traffic control, cultural event pre-announcements, and the operation of convenience facilities such as food zones and restrooms, urging thorough management to ensure a pleasant and comfortable festival.
Held under the theme of 'Spring Flower Picnic,' this festival will take place from March 29 to April 2, with the entire venue designed around the concept of a "cam-picnic" (camping + picnic), allowing visitors to experience a leisurely spring amidst the busy city.
