Muan-gun, Full Effort to Prevent Jeonwolse Fraud Victims
Distribution of Promotional Materials to 6,621 Households, Operation of Free Consultation Center
Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) is making an all-out effort by promoting various policies and publicity to prevent jeonse and monthly rent fraud damage.
According to the county on the 21st, recently, jeonse fraud damage has emerged as a social issue, and damage has also occurred in some rental apartments and officetels in Muan-gun.
Accordingly, the county is focusing on raising awareness and improving recognition of jeonse fraud by △producing and distributing caution leaflets on jeonse and monthly rent fraud targeting 6,621 rental apartment and officetel households in the jurisdiction △providing education on jeonse fraud response measures for building managers △operating a free consultation center for safe jeonse and monthly rent contracts △promoting prevention of jeonse and monthly rent damage through village chief meetings and neighborhood newsletters.
In particular, the free consultation center for safe jeonse and monthly rent contracts, which has been operating since October last year, provides direct consultations by licensed real estate agents in the jurisdiction, giving high satisfaction and practical help to civil petitioners.
Kim Su-young, head of the Civil Complaints and Land Management Division, said, "To prevent jeonse and monthly rent fraud damage, it is important to know and respond accurately to precautions when making contracts," and added, "Please be sure to check the distributed leaflets and confirm any questions at the free consultation center for safe jeonse and monthly rent contracts before proceeding with the contract."
The Muan-gun free consultation center for safe jeonse and monthly rent contracts operates every Wednesday from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Muan-gun Office Civil Complaints and Land Management Division and Namak Complex Community Center.
