The meeting was attended by representatives of 23 tenant commercial facilities at the airport, sharing cooperation measures for commercial facilities such as directions for revitalizing Jeju Airport and support for MD product development, and collecting opinions and suggestions from each company.
In addition, at the awards ceremony held prior to the meeting, Angel-in-us (coffee specialty store), Olive Young (health & beauty), and Lotte Rent-a-Car (car rental) were selected as the best companies.
The selected companies will be provided with various benefits including a plaque of recognition, prize money, and promotion on the corporation’s website and SNS.
The selection method for the best companies was based on a comprehensive internal and external evaluation combining actual customer satisfaction surveys and undercover monitoring results by professional organizations.
Kim Bok-geun, Director of Jeju Airport, said, “Due to recent negative perceptions of Jeju tourism caused by domestic travelers going abroad and high inflation, not only tenant companies at the airport but the entire Jeju tourism industry is facing difficulties. We plan to contribute to restoring Jeju’s tourism image by increasing passenger satisfaction and providing high-quality services suitable for a gateway airport through regular communication and cooperation with tenant companies.”
