Honam University Department of Robot Drone Engineering Awards Innovation Talent Scholarships to Students
The Department of Robot and Drone Engineering at Honam University awarded innovation talent scholarships totaling over 16 million KRW to 27 outstanding students who actively participated in the Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Innovation Platform Project (RIS) on the 21st.
The Department of Robot and Drone Engineering at Honam University encourages students' capability development by dividing extracurricular activities such as autonomous research and various certification programs into three levels based on participation, providing scholarships of up to 1.2 million KRW per student.
Since 2021, with support from the Regional Innovation Platform Project Group, the Department of Robot and Drone Engineering at Honam University has been promoting educational environment improvements, establishment of core educational equipment, operation of extracurricular programs, and joint technology development projects with companies to cultivate specialized personnel in the future transportation equipment fields of robots and drones.
