On that day, the city, together with the Osan branch of the Gyeonggi Outdoor Advertising Association and a public-private joint task force, removed banners, signboards, and youth-harmful flyers, posters, and business cards that threatened traffic and student pedestrian safety. The city explained that it especially selected areas around kindergartens and elementary schools within child protection zones as priority cleanup zones and carried out focused crackdowns and cleanups.
The city plans to immediately remove illegal mobile advertisements and take administrative actions such as imposing fines on habitual and large-scale illegal advertisements.
